When the labs meet

Applied AI Labs for Nonprofits, funded by Wells Fargo Philanthropy and Community Impact (PCI), run for seven weeks on Zoom, one 90-minute lab a week, for staff from 25 nonprofits. Each organization sends two colleagues, and both keep the same cohort day from start to finish. Everything in the main room is recorded. If you miss a week, the recording comes in the follow-up email within about two days.

Seven weekly labs, both cohorts in step

Both cohorts cover the same lab in the same week, one on Mondays and one on Fridays. The RSVP link in Nichole Giller's welcome email puts your seven sessions, with the Zoom link, on your calendar.

Holidays in the program window

Columbus Day (Indigenous Peoples' Day)
Monday, October 12

Wells Fargo, the program's funder, is closed that day, but the Monday cohort's Lab 3 goes ahead on Monday, October 12 as scheduled. The Friday cohort meets Friday, October 16.

Veterans Day
Wednesday, November 11

Wells Fargo, the program's funder, is closed, but no lab falls on it. The Monday cohort meets November 9 and the Friday cohort November 13.

Thanksgiving
Thursday, November 26

The last labs are November 9 and 13 and the program wraps November 16, all before the holiday. The leadership showcase comes after it, in December or January.

After the wrap

The leadership showcase is its own session after Thanksgiving, in December or January, for a few standout projects. Its date isn't set yet, and it will go on this page once it is. RW Institute will tell you if your work is invited. Lab 7 has a showcase of its own, where each person shows their workflow to their breakout room.
